We have a few different types of harmonics available on the harp. Keep reading to learn more!
Regular single harmonics
Available for both hands, within the mid-range of the harp. Notated with a harmonic symbol.
Doubled harmonics
Left hand only, for a 5th interval or less. Notated with two harmonic symbols, one for each note
Harmonic paired with non-harmonic interval
Left hand only, the top note will be harmonic, the bottom note regular. Preferred as a sixth or less, but larger intervals are possible.
Higher partial harmonics
Available as 12ths, 15ths, and 17ths within a limited range for either hand. Notation suggested, but adapt as needed and include a key for the performer.
